AGAINST WORLD POVERTY
Microlend was founded by Ralf and Anne Schroers in 2011 after Ralf's 31-year career in Financial Planning.
Since 2013, we've established reliable branch partnerships with dedicated coordinators and volunteers, but there is much more to do!
Our goal is to grow charitable microfinance activities both nationally and internationally. We seek like-minded individuals to form groups and conduct similar efforts in developing nations.

We also stand with international partner charity organisations ( such as Overcoming Extreme Poverty ) in advocating for greater awareness of - and global challenge to - the underlying causes of poverty.

In terms of poverty, donations often disempower people because they become reliant on the donations. At Microlend Australia we help the world’s poorest people by financing them into small businesses. The businesses provide them with an ongoing source of income and helps the economy within their community. When the loan is repaid the money is used to finance another business.
